*So far we don't have any Muslim midwives or natural-birth-supportive OBs in the area. If I become aware of any, I will add them inshaAllah!!!
Personal note: From my own experience, I believe that what matters more than a midwife/OB's faith is their perspective of birth (normal vs. pathologic), mode of practice, and their experience. That’s much more important than whether they are “Muslim” or not. Although of course a believing, practicing Muslim who believes that birth is normal would be the best.
